Individualized Family Consultation Service Package

Spectrum Resources of North Carolina, Inc offers individualized family consultation to families with children on the autism spectrum.  Our consultation service package is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to assessing needs, generating programming ideas and offering guided practice for implementing effective strategies.

Spectrum Resources consultants are currently available to provide consultation in the following areas:

  • Social Skills Development
  • Informal assessment
  • Development of organizational structure and visual systems to help promote independence
  • Vocational Consultation
  • Basic Understanding of ASD and learning strategies

As a courtesy to new families, Spectrum Resources of North Carolina, Inc. is offering an initial meeting to discuss consultation services with a consultant at no charge.  This meeting will be 1 hour in length and held at the location designated by the family.  The purpose of the meeting is to review the service options for consultation and gather basic information in order to generate a service agreement.

Once a service agreement has been reached, families will receive the following basic consultation package:

  • Consultation services are scheduled to accommodate the family’s scheduling needs.

  • A basic consultation package takes approximately 10 hours to complete; however, additional time may be necessary depending on the complexity of the case and the needs of the family.

  • If a full consultation package is not necessary to address the needs of the family, individualized consultation service agreements can be arranged.

  • A consultation service proposal will be drafted for a family’s review prior to committing to purchasing the service.

  • Once the family and the consultant have agreed upon the criteria for service, an individualized service agreement will be provided for review and signatures.

  • Half of the total service agreement fee is due prior to the start date of the service agreement.

  • The remainder of the balance for services is due upon completion of the service agreement.

  • Within the programming development session, the family and consultant will determine which strategies and materials should be developed for use.  By parent request, any additional materials (extra schedules, other work systems, alternative tasks and activities, etc.) can be developed by the consultant at an hourly rate of $25.00.  These additional charges will be clearly outlined in an addendum to the service agreement prior to the development of materials.
